At Café Muse we’ve always focused on fresh and locally produced products. We’re now taking it one step further by teaming with two local farmers, Mike Berschback and Jim Wenzel, to grow some of our organic produce. Michigan Micro Farms, located in Chesterfield Township, is currently growing some of the produce that is being used at the restaurant – and will continue to provide even more produce throughout the summer months. Their mission is to de-revolutionize the entire farming system on a micro level by allowing anyone total control over the produce they eat.

We feel this will have both an economical and environmental impact on our community. It’s important to strengthen the local economy as much as possible especially in the current environment. Plus everyone, including local businesses, need to reduce their carbon footprints. Working with local farms eliminates the need to ship produce throughout the country and most importantly, the produce is fresher because of it.
